sniping easier on BC:2 than BC:1?

I was playing BC:2 at a friends house on his PS3, and it seemed much easier to snipe, be it aggressively or static, than on BC:1 which I play on my xbox(since I can't play BC:2 yet... due to the damn open tray error) I mean, it's not THAT hard to get some solid kills sniping on BC:1, but it seems like the maps are more open for it on BC:2...

or are there just some shit players on the PS3?

from montages I have seen, PS3 players seem to suck the most...but I would not know cause I have not played on the PS3.

But on the 360, I would say it is easier in a way...but it takes alot more skill to stay alive longer w/ kill cam and the new spotting system. And once you learn peoples snipers spots, a really good moblie sniper can just walk around taking out everything in his path.

But the thing with sniping in Battlefield games, most people cannot hit a moving target. Once you learn how to adjust for bullet drop and lead for a moving target...Battlefield has some of the best sniping in any game ever, and it takes alot of skill

and yes, it took me a while getting used to bullet drop and having to lead moving targets unlike in MW2...

but i'm starting to get the hang of it, and SOMETIMES I cheapen the sniping experience by using the SVU. xD

I gotta say, though. the SVU and VSS(BC:1) are great snipers in their own right, I just like the whole one shot kill thing.

that and I often find myself quick scoping as well as no scoping when i'm at close or medium range as it takes less time to do that than to switch to your handgun and possibly get raped in the amount of time it takes to kill with a pistol.

yeah, bolt action all the way. I used tha semi-snipers alot in BFBC1, but sniping is crisper in BFBC2[see how I avoided using the word easier] And if you want a good handgun to use, try the MP 443 Grach. This gun is my bottom bitch. I use it alot for a handgun. I am very confident with it and will rape and entire squad with my M1 Garand and MP 443 Grach w/o reloading. I heard they just did a buff to all the handguns too, and this one was the weakest w/ the biggest clip and lowest recoil...now it is a death dealing machine in the right hands.

Give it a try and I bet you will fall in love with it like I have

I can't tell you how good/bad compared to Xbox because I've never played it on Xbox. What I can tell you is that the majority of gamers on any console are not good at the game, which is why most people are indeed worse than me.

now that you say that, I think about 95% of the people that play games online...suck. These are the people that do nothing but cry on forums and get things changed so many times, that the game begins to turn into anything but what the original was like when it first shipped. These "casual" players ruin alot of games. they cannot hang with good players, so they complain saying everything is un-balanced. Then the game turns into a noob freindly piece of shit that nobody wants to play because it is no longer a challenge or any fun.

people need to stop with the bitching. Learn how to play and adapt to different playstyles before you cry to the developers.

A pretty K/D does not mean you are a good player...especially for Battlefield games. A good player helps the team and brings home the Win...they dont sit in a bush and hope they get a 10 kill streak, then cry when they get out-shot by someone w/ a pistol from across the map.

Enough ranting for today...I need to go home and play some BFBC1 on a 15 inch non-HD tv
