Created in 2004 for originally Battlefield Vietnam, the =US= has become the pinnacle of online team based gaming, with over 50 international members from Europe, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States! We have forged teamwork, hard work and brutal skill into each and every member. Over the years our competition teams have been ranked near the top of the charts in TWL and many other leagues.
We hold excellent reputations with other clans and uphold only the highest level of respect on the field and in communities. Respect, teamwork, and family are the core values at =US= and these values have kept nearly two dozen Retired, Command, and other members energetic while gaming years later.
What makes =US= special? Our people, we have dozens of dedicated military personnel, former and current who add to the military feel. Our unique recognition for actions with military awards, ranks and decorations give our gaming experiences structure. Most of all we give you the opportunity to choose your own path with us.
Once you filled out an application for the =US= you will be introduced as a recruit to a trainer. As such you will need to attend one boot camp, pass an interview, and pass a simple skill testing quiz before you are given the rank of E-1 in one of our branches. The games played by these branches varies and are subject to change.
We fight as a team, and as a value of our clan; fighting with skill is something you’ll learn during boot camp. During training you will learn squad formations and tactics that help us stay at the top of competitive gaming.
With promotions comes responsibilities, communication, and teamwork is key, as well as the art of calling for insertion, extraction, airstrikes and various other support communications is important to keep the squad alive and the team in the lead.
As a veteran clan, we enjoy several ranked and unranked game servers, a 100-person premium Teamspeak3 server and dozens of awards. We offer pubs, practices, and both internal and external scrims.
As an organized clan we know how to coordinate events efficiently, with weekly meetings on teamspeak as well as our highly structured Chain of Command there is always room to be heard. Our members enjoy gaming on dozens of games and proudly support our tags with pride.
We pride ourself on the maturity of our members and therefore have an age limit of 16+. The age limit can be waived for applicants who prove themselves mature and worthy to be an Unknown Soldier.
