EA partners with Dr. Pepper to provide DLC in every bottle

Electronic Arts kicked off the new year with a new promotional campaign encouraging gamers to look under their Dr. Pepper lids for codes that can be traded for DLC on EA Games like Mass Effect 2, Sims 3 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

From now until March 31st, "select varieties" of Dr. Pepper (read: everything in a bottle except Diet Cherry Chocolate) will have a code imprinted under the cap that can be submitted to the contest website in exchange for "unique downloadable content" for current and upcoming EA titles. To access the new content players must also sign up for an EA.com account, a Dr. Pepper account and register their games with EA.

The promotion runs through the end of 2010 with a short break from April to June, and once a player has downloaded all available content for every game they will still have access to mysterious "electronic downloads" from EA. No word yet on what the new downloadable content will include, but the bottles should be on shelves soon so leave us a comment and tell us what you find!

Can U blivet ??
